1. The Front Door
More than a third of all home break-ins happen through the front door — often by simply kicking it in. A reinforced strike plate and door contact sensor is your first defense.
2. The Sliding Glass Door
A favorite in North County homes with rear patio access. An alarm contact plus a rear camera eliminates most risk.
3. Garage Entry Door
The side door into your garage is frequently overlooked. This door should always be on your alarm system.
4. Ground-Floor Windows
Windows hidden by landscaping are common entry points. Glass break sensors and cameras in these areas are highly effective deterrents.
